Bridal Alterations

Feeling confident, happy and looking their absolute best are the most important things that Brides need on their wedding day. A well fitting, comfortable dress that matches the Bride’s vision is a good starting point to let all that beauty shine!

At Addyman Alterations, we offer our brides more than just expertly altered dresses. We offer support and reassurance that you will look amazing on your big day. We offer guidance and advice every step of the way; from the first point of contact to collecting the finished dress, we want brides and their loved ones to shine their brightest on their wedding day.

Your wedding dress will be the most important dress you ever wear so let’s make it hug every curve, swish as you shimmy and make your partner’s face light up!

We like to see Brides for their first fitting roughly 10-12 weeks before their wedding date. The average bride needs three fittings in those 10-12 weeks; some less, some more, depending on how much work is needed on their dress. So allow for three 45-60 min appointments when planning out your alterations.

The average cost of bridal alterations is difficult to judge as each dress is different and each Bride (and their body) unique. I recommend budgeting between £300 and £400 for your dress to be altered. To help you decide if your dress is on the higher or lower end of the scale, see my blog post here with examples of Brides and their bridal alterations.

Please make sure that you have your shoes and your underwear sorted for your first fitting.
